Italian Language Week / Elgiz Museum - Student Exhibition

As part of the Italian Language Week, whose theme is determined by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as "Italian and Sustainability," our exhibition opening took place at Elgiz Museum on Thursday, November 30, 2023. The selected works by the school commission were displayed and participated in the competition. The competition jury included Elena Clemente, the Italian Consul General; Irene Pastorino, the Italian Consul; Sevda Elgiz, the founder of Elgiz Museum; Francesca Ballabene, representative of Pirelli company; Giovanna Manzini; Enrico and Ornella Boari. The jury, led by the Italian Consul General, evaluated criteria such as painting techniques, conveyed messages, and creativity in the works, determining the top three students. As a result of the evaluation, our first-place student Ela received her award from the Italian Consul General Elena Clemente, our second-place student Mina received her award from the Italian Consul Irene Pastorino, and our third-place student Alpcan received his award from Sevda Elgiz. Sophie Su, who received the creativity jury special award, was also acknowledged.

We congratulate all the middle school students who participated in the competition for their courage and self-confidence, and we wish them the presence of art in their lives.
