Elgiz Museum Student Art Exhibition

As part of the 24th Italian Language Week, a painting exhibition themed "My Favorite Book," prepared by our 5th-grade students under the guidance of the Italian and Visual Arts departments, and a painting competition titled "Italian and Books: A World Between the Lines," featuring the participation of 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students, were held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at the Elgiz Museum. The competition jury included Italian Consul Irene Pastorino, Elgiz Museum founder Sevda Elgiz, and Ornella Boari. Chaired by the Italian Consul, the jury evaluated the artworks based on painting techniques, the conveyed message, and creativity. As a result of the evaluation, our student Zeynep, who ranked first, received her award from Italian Consul Irene Pastorino; our student Sophie, who ranked second, received her award from Ornella Boari; and our student Leyla, who ranked third, received her award from Sevda Elgiz. The Creativity Special Jury Award was presented to our student Atlas by our School Principal, Hakan Aktaş.
