Elgiz Museum "Peaceful Sea and Sky" Opening

On Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at the Istanbul Elgiz Museum, the exhibition "Peaceful Sea and Sky" was opened with the support of the Venice Peace Fish Association. The opening speech began with museum director Sevda Elgiz and continued with speeches from our school principal Sedef Bulat, Sultan Gelmez, the school principal of Lütfi Banat Primary School, and Polin Ökke, the school principal of Evrim Schools. The project, backed by the City of Venice, involved the participation of 1000 children from four Mediterranean countries: Italy, Greece, Turkey, and Lebanon, who contributed with their artworks. Leading the project was journalist and writer Nadia de Lazzari, who has been involved in cultural activities in crisis and war zones for over 20 years. The exhibition titled "Peaceful Sea and Sky" will be open for visitors at the Elgiz Museum until May 28, 2023, Sunday.
